Nicholas’s practice spans the full range of commercial real estate and business work, with a particular focus on:

Commercial property – acquisitions and disposals, development projects, promotion agreements, conditional contracts and overage, secured lending, and the full spectrum of landlord and tenant matters, including new leases, renewals, assignments, surrenders, rent reviews and dilapidations.

Corporate and commercial – share and asset sales, business structures, shareholder and partnership arrangements, and the terms and conditions/commercial contracts that sit behind day-to-day trading.

Residential conveyancing – sales, purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages, with a focus on clear communication, realistic timeframes and steady progress from instruction through to completion.

He acts for clients across Cheshire and the Northwest, and is regularly instructed on matters with a national footprint.

With over a decade of experience across private practice and senior in-house roles, Nicholas brings a disciplined, commercially informed approach to every transaction. His in-house background means he is comfortable working alongside boards, investors and senior management, translating legal risk into practical options that support good decision-making and keep deals on track.
