Michelle McQuillan

Michelle advises investors, pension schemes, developers, businesses, landlords and tenants, charities, portfolio holders and property entrepreneurs, on a wide range of commercial property matters, from acquisitions and disposals to development and portfolio management.

Her practice covers commercial sales and purchases, investment transactions, development projects, finance and refinancing, including bridging and secured lending. Michelle can handle both straightforward and complex transactions across a variety of sectors.

She also advises on leases, whether that be the grant of a new lease, a lease renewal or the sale/purchase of an existing lease, as well as land and development matters, to include title splitting, option and overage agreements, easements and strategic land deals, with a practical, commercially focused approach throughout.

Michelle works closely with her client’s wider professional team, such as agents, surveyors, brokers, accountants and other professional advisers, to ensure that her commercial and practical legal advice supports growth, protects investments and facilitates successful outcomes.

Michelle has more than 10 years of commercial property experience, which is underpinned by strong negotiation, communication, analytical skills and close attention to detail, which she transferred from her former career as a Solicitor-Advocate, with higher rights of audience in the criminal courts.

Michelle acts in transactions across England and Wales, with a particular focus on the Midlands, North West and North Wales regions.
