She takes a down-to-earth, compassionate and empathetic approach, supporting clients through some of the most challenging periods of their lives. Lisa has been a qualified solicitor for over 18 years, practising predominantly in Family Law since qualifying with a specialist family law firm in 2008.
Lisa’s practice covers all aspects of Family Law, with particular expertise in children matters, including child arrangements, specific issue applications, prohibited steps orders and injunctions to protect children. She also advises clients where social services are involved, drawing upon her extensive safeguarding and child protection experience.
Alongside her family law practice, Lisa is developing a specialist Fertility Law practice, advising on matters including surrogacy, adoption, assisted reproduction and donor conception.
She also assists clients with divorce, financial matters arising from separation, disputes involving unmarried couples, civil partnerships, annulments, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, domestic abuse, forced marriage, grandparents’ and step-parents’ rights, and change of name deeds.
Background
After qualifying in 2008 as the first trainee solicitor of a specialist Family Law firm, Lisa went on to build extensive experience across both private and public family law. She later became Head of Private Family Law at a large regional law firm.
In 2017, Lisa established Bose Legal, a family law consultancy created in response to the significant reductions in legal aid following the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (LASPO), as well as a desire to offer a more personalised and flexible alternative to traditional legal services. The aim was to provide accessible, practical and client-focused support to individuals navigating complex family law issues. Through this work, Lisa supported many clients in navigating complex family law matters with confidence and clarity.
Lisa’s career has also included management roles on the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA), within local government data protection teams responsible for children’s social care records, and she currently manages a team of specialist child protection lawyers within local government dealing with complex safeguarding matters on a part-time basis.
As a solo mother through donor conception, Lisa has first-hand experience of the challenges individuals and couples can face on their fertility journey. This personal insight has inspired her growing interest in Fertility Law and her commitment to supporting others through this important and evolving area of practice.
Lisa has appeared on BBC local radio and other regional stations discussing family law issues, she has advised clients who are in the public eye and has regularly provided pro bono legal advice through legal clinics across London and the surrounding counties.
In addition, Lisa has completed Strategic Intervention Life Coach training provided by Tony Robbins and Chloe Madanes via the Robbins-Madanes Training academy, equipping her with additional skills to support and empower clients through difficult life transitions.
She is passionate about helping clients navigate complex legal issues with confidence, clarity and reassurance, while working towards the best possible outcome for them and their families.

Can’t praise Lisa enough for her help with regards to my contact case along with her attitude to go that extra mile with helping me with extra info and advice without overcharging me. It’s nice to know there are still people out there who don’t see pound signs when they see a vulnerable client. Thank you so much.
