Joanna Robson

Joanna successfully navigates complex legal issues and delivers her advice with a focus on delivering strategic and practical solutions to her clients.  Examples of Joanna’s recent work has included the following :

• Representing an employee in a disability discrimination claim against a public sector organisation. Joanna negotiated a favourable settlement to prevent the matter escalating to an Employment Tribunal.
• Representing an employee in their claim for constructive unfair dismissal, disability discrimination and harassment.
• Defending a charitable organisation facing multiple vexatious grievances and appeals, none of which were ultimately upheld.
• Advising Trustees of a charitable trust on TUPE implications for their business.
• Advising a multi-national organisation on an ill health capability procedure so as to reduce risk and liability of an unfair dismissal being presented.
• Advising and representing a Company defending an Employment Tribunal claim brought by a former employee citing allegations of race discrimination and constructive unfair dismissal.
• Advising and negotiating on terms of Settlement Agreements, both for employees ad employers.

Joanna is a member of the Employment Lawyer’s Association and the Leicestershire Law Society.  She partakes in regular seminars and business networking events.  She is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
