Military personnel are often exposed to noise from gunfire, mortars, bombs, artillery, aircraft, vehicle engines and machinery. It does not matter if your symptoms are only minor now; it is important to consider how they may deteriorate and affect you in the future. Even if you have passed previous hearing tests, particularly those carried out in the military, you may still have a claim.
It’s easy and free to find out if you’re eligible to make a claim. If you served wholly or partially after 1987 and suffer from hearing loss or tinnitus you are likely to be eligible.
