We are pleased to have recently welcomed Kirsty Limacher to our team of experienced Consultant Lawyers at nexa law.
Kirsty has nearly 15 years’ experience in Private Client matters having qualified as a Solicitor in October 2007. She is a Fully Accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly and an Affiliate member of STEP.
Background
Kirsty began her legal career in Norfolk where she gained over a decade of experience before relocating to the Home Counties. She is a Fully Accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and is dual qualified having been admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland in October 2021, though is currently non-practising in Ireland.
Kirsty has a particular interest in advising cohabiting couples and those with alternative relationship structures and has been a Committee Member of the Law Society’s LGBT+ Lawyers Division since March 2020. She is also a House of Stonewall Champion, supporting the charity in their Over the Rainbow legacies programme.
Areas of expertise
Kirsty has dealt with all aspects of Wills and Estate administration, including Inheritance Tax planning and advice. She also deals with Declarations of Trust, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Deputy applications.
Kirsty is a passionate advocate for LGBT+ rights and aims to provide a safe space for members of the community and their allies to access advice on their personal affairs.
Likes
Kirsty has recently discovered a love of motorcycles, gaining her full licence in April 2019. She also enjoys country walks with her husband, stepchildren and rescue Rottweiler cross.
