Her journey in immigration law began as a paralegal, where she passionately represented asylum clients under legal aid. She provided end-to-end support, from advising on rights and lodging applications to representing clients at asylum interviews, often collaborating with Doughty Street barristers to deliver robust legal counsel.

Lily’s career evolved as she joined a leading US firm as a senior immigration consultant, managing immigration needs for medium and large corporate clients. She went on to spend six years at Deloitte, leading high-performing teams to deliver strategic immigration solutions for a broad client base, including global corporations, SMEs, private clients, and high-net-worth individuals. Her expertise spans industries such as technology, media, retail, finance, and energy, where she played a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing global immigration programmes aligned with business and mobility goals.

At Vialto Partners, Lily spearheaded immigration work within the creative sector, securing the firm’s first sponsor licence for creative industry clients. Her leadership extended to guiding businesses in leveraging the creative route for talent sponsorship. In 2024, she accepted Partnership and Head of Immigration role at a city law firm before bringing her extensive expertise to Nexa as a Partner.
