James Devane

James was admitted as a Solicitor in February 1980 and was among the first solicitors to qualify as a Solicitor Advocate (Criminal) in 2001. He has over 40 years’ experience in complex criminal and commercial litigation, as well as consumer debt recovery, acting for both large and small corporations and individual clients.

Throughout his career, James has consistently communicated at a high level in his roles as both a Solicitor and an Advocate. This has included communicating with a wide range of people across different cultures, enabling him to build long-standing and effective relationships with colleagues and clients.

James is a keen golfer and was previously a footballer and swimmer of some note. He has always been willing to put himself forward for presentations and public speaking, developing these skills over many years and culminating in speaking at numerous charity and sporting events in support of a wide range of worthy causes.
