Femi qualified as a soclitor in 2011 following a 21-year career in the tax and accountancy profession. While still taking on the occasional tax instructions, Femi’s career with Nexa has concentrated on building the firm’s Restructuring and Insolvency capacity.

Background
Femi’s pre-law career has seen him gain experience as a tax inspector within HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), a tax consultant in two of the Big 4 accountancy firms and as a Senior Manager in an in-house role with a top 10 global bank. Femi’s current focus is in the insolvency space where he and his team are regilarly instructed to assist companies and individuals facing winding up and bankruptcy petitions, and arena in which the courts are seeing exponential growth, in particular from creditors such as HMRC.
