His approach is pragmatic and strategic, with a focus on early resolution where possible, but with strong litigation experience where required.

• Mayhook v (1) National Car Parks; (2) Nigel Barrington-Fuller (2012) LTL 20/3/2013, represented the Claimant in a case involving the unlawful towing of a vehicle, raising complex issues around contractual terms and penalties.

Sports Law

Andrew acts for individuals, clubs, and organisations involved in sports-related disputes. Clients have included professional players, local clubs, and fitness businesses, with experience spanning disciplinary, regulatory, contractual, and commercial matters.

He has advised on:

• League promotion and regulatory decisions

• Intellectual property and brand protection for sports and fitness businesses

Andrew is appointed to sit on disciplinary panels for the Football Association’s National Serious Case Panel. The NSCP adjudicates on cases of a serious nature involving grassroots football clubs, officials and players, such as assaults and discrimination.

As a panel member, Andrew is well placed to advise and act for clubs who are subject to regulatory action by their county football association.

Andrew has experience of acting for both employers and employees in cases involving restrictive covenant breaches, including seeking injunctions for employers to prevent any further breaches.
