Erika is a UK-qualified solicitor admitted to the roll in 1993. Erika began her career in the Court Service, where she advised Magistrates on a range of first-tier tribunal matters, including licensing, betting, and gaming applications. Erika is a British German citizen and has lived in Europe (UK, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland) Middle East  (Bahrain, Oman) and Africa (Egypt).

Erika is now based in the UK in the county of Surrey.

Erika has specialised in food and drink regulation since 2013 and now enjoys advising on a wide range of food and drink related matters. Erika can advise retailers, wholesalers, and independent operators.  Erika has advised individual entrepreneurs and large multinational supermarkets as well as specialist health food brand outlets.

Erika is an expert in food regulation and has worked at Campden BRI for several years, fine-tuning her skills and knowledge on many aspects of food and drink production and regulation, including beer, wines and spirits.

Erika has worked in industry with a global self care company, where she joined the scientific office team to bring her expertise in food regulation. Erika was successful in helping this firm navigate the complexities of regulated products and market access in a number of EU countries. Erika developed further expertise in food supplements, food for special medical purposes, borderline products, (medicine/medical device/food supplement).

Erika has special expertise in labelling and marketing communications including digital marketing. Erika welcomes the opportunity to help business access the UK and other EU markets with compliant labelling and other commercial communications.
