Simon is a highly experienced, innovative and commercial tax lawyer and chartered tax adviser and advises a diverse mix of corporate and private clients (both in the UK and internationally). Simon deals with a range of tax matters, including Corporate Transactional matters, Real Estate tax (both commercial and residential), Employment Tax, Profit Extraction techniques and advising Private Clients on minimising a range of personal taxes including Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains. Simon advises corporate boutiques, family offices, financial institutions, general trading businesses, professional practices, ultra-high net worth individuals (including professional sportsmen and women) and media stars in relation to structuring and documenting a range of domestic and international transactions and minimising the associated tax costs. Simon trained at one of the Big 4 accountancy firms in London (where he qualified as a chartered tax adviser in 1998) and subsequently qualified as a solicitor in 2000 at a leading City law firm. He has held Head of Tax roles at a leading US law firm, tax partner roles in a London law firm and regional accountancy firm and founded his own boutique London tax law firm.
